Incense Sand

Insulate your burner when you use charcoal to prevent burnt fingers and heat marks on table tops. Fill your burner half-way with sand, light your charcoal and place it on top of the sand. Let the charcoal ignite completely and place a small amount of Moon Magick incense or resin on top of charcoal. After your meditation or ceremony when the charcoal is out and cooled off, just spoon the charcoal ash from the top of the sand and leave the sand in your burner for your next working.  (Color may vary.)
